Meet the Founders

Duke Movers was founded in 2024 by two JMU students with the idea of bringing exceptional and affordable moving services to the Harrisonburg area. Although the company is new, founders, Soren and Caleb Scott, have both worked as managers at a Charlottesville moving company and together, have a combined eight years of experience helping folks relocate.


  • Soren is a recent JMU grad and has completed over 450 moves in the past 5 years.

  • Caleb is a junior and has completed over 150 moves in the past 3 years.
